Description
The article explores rituals from a linguocultural perspective, emphasizing the interaction between language and culture. Conceptual, discourse, and comparative methods are applied to the analysis of ritual vocabulary, formulaic expressions, and metaphorical patterns. A comparative study of Indo-European and Turkic languages reveals both universal cognitive models and culture-specific semantic features. Ritual discourse is interpreted as a means of preserving collective memory and transmitting ethical norms, social roles, and cultural identity.
