Modern solutions for regional economic development in the context of the digital economy

The article examines modern approaches to ensuring regional economic development in the context of a digital economy, using the example of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Key development factors, including the digitalization of the economy, human capital development, and the implementation of innovative solutions, were analyzed. Special attention is paid to the role of the higher education system as a tool for forming digital and entrepreneurial competencies. Practical recommendations for the implementation of digital technologies and the development of the regional economy were proposed.
