NATMed: Biomass Sampling at the Study Area of Lake Chimaditida (Monthly), May-September 2025

This dataset contains monthly field measurements of fresh vegetation biomass (kg) and NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) collected at multiple sampling points within the study area of Lake Chimaditida, Western Macedonia, Greece. Sampling was conducted from May to September 2025 (5 monthly campaigns), covering the vegetation growing season. Each record includes the GPS coordinates of the sampling point (WGS84), fresh biomass weight in kilograms, and the corresponding NDVI value derived from remote sensing. Lake Chimaditida is a Ramsar-listed shallow freshwater lake of significant ecological importance in northern Greece.
