Leishmania procaviensis (strain LV425) genome and proteome

Description
This dataset contains the genome, coding and protein sequences determined for Leishmania procaviensis (strain LV425). This genome sequence was assembled de novo using Illumina and Oxford Nanopore sequencing platforms by Almutairi et al (2023. PMID: 36877038). The genome was assembled into 67 contigs, 36 of which correspond to chromosomes, and the rest remain unassigned. A total of 8266 proteins and their corresponding coding sequences are also provided. The Fasta files included in this dataset were downloaded from GenBank (assembly GCA_017918225.1; April 17, 2026)
