1-Year Simulation of the Northern Egyptian Coast in MIKE 21 SW

Description
1-year wave hindcast of the northern Egyptian coast (southeastern Mediterranean Sea or Levantine Basin) from January 1, 2023 at 12:00 AM to January 1, 2024 at 12:00 AM, produced in MIKE 21 SW. Dataset contains the mesh used for the domain, point parameters evaluated at Marsa Matrouh, El Alamein, Alexandria, Damietta, and Port Said, and area parameters. Results validated against the ERA5 hourly reanalysis with good agreement. Developed as part of the master's thesis: Wave Resource Assessment and Feasibility Study for Wave-Powered Desalination in Egypt.
