Abstract
This video documents the third in-depth conversation between Boris Eldagsen and Dr. Jürgen Tenckhoff on artificial intelligence, image generators, artistic practice, social consequences, and new forms of human-AI collaboration. The starting point is the observation that the AI debate has long moved beyond pure image production and now touches fundamental questions of control, manipulation, research, automation, visibility, and power.
A central theme of the conversation concerns two early warning criteria that Jürgen Tenckhoff already identified as critical in 1983 at the international AI congress in Karlsruhe: unrestricted access to large data spaces and the ability of a system to optimize its own code or operational structure. In the context of today’s agentic systems, bot marketplaces, and increasingly autonomous process chains, these criteria are revisited and reassessed.
