Description
Malthinellus bicolor Kiesenwetter, 1874:
holotype (by monotypy), male (NHMUK), “Type / H. T.”, “ Japan / G. Lewis / 1910-320”, “ Malthinellus / bicolor / Ksw.”, “SYN- / TYPE”; non-type (all RNC): 1 male, Japan, Kumamoto Pref., Yabe-machi, Komagaeri-pass, 30. VII. 1997, S. Imasaka leg.; 1 female, Japan, Fukuoka Pref., Kitakyûshû-shi, Tashiro, 30. VII. 1996, S. Imasaka leg.; 3 males, Japan, Chiba Pref., Narita-shi, Ôtake, Sakatagaikesôgô-kôen (alt. ca. 30 m), 15. VI. 2016, Ryo Nakamura leg. (Figs. 7A, G, 8A, E–F).
