D14.1 Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Plan

Description

This document describes the Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation (CDE) Plan for the Horizon Europe project CARAMEL, which develops AI-powered, gender-sensitive tools for cardiovascular disease prevention in women aged 40–60.
The CDE strategy defines how the project will raise awareness towards target groups, engage stakeholders, promote the uptake of results, and ensure long-term impact across scientific, clinical, policy, and community sectors. The strategy is structured around five guiding questions (why, to whom, what, when, and how), and it aligns outreach actions with the needs and expectations of key target groups, including healthcare professionals, women aged 40–60, general public, policymakers and healthcare authorities, research communities, technology and innovation sector, and community health organisations. It also provides a detailed overview of the communication tools and channels, ranging from digital platforms and scientific publications to social media campaigns and stakeholder events, used to ensure broad engagement and targeted dissemination.
The plan aims to maximise CARAMEL’s visibility and reach, foster adoption of its innovations, and support the broader mission of improving cardiovascular health for women through inclusive, evidence-based digital solutions. Designed as a living document, the CDE Plan will evolve alongside the project, to reflect project progress and activities, stakeholder feedback, and emerging dissemination and exploitation opportunities.
