Description
Dataset and code for Substantial Role of Non-CO2 Forcing in Driving Global Warmth Across Past Warm Climates
This package estimates "apparent non-CO₂ forcing" from compiled fully coupled paleoclimate simulations spanning the Eocene, Eocene–Oligocene Transition (EOT), Miocene, and Pliocene. It decomposes simulated global mean temperature anomalies into CO₂-attributable and residual (non-CO₂) components, then uses these estimates within a Bayesian framework to constrain modern effective climate sensitivity.
