Description

In order to investigate and assess the impact of changes due to restorations on the original identity of cultural artefacts and immaterial expressions related to them various concepts of authenticity, a central term in cultural heritage, are modeled. The potential is explored of integrating multifaceted storytelling around 3D reconstructions of restorations of the 12th century reliquary shrine of Saint Servatius, the so-called Chest of Distress in Maastricht, in its social-cultural contexts in a semantic web knowledge graph.
