Priestman, Kennet, Khosrozadeh & Aali 2005: The Hormuzgan Survey 2005: Ground Testing the Williamson Collection

Description

Report on the Hormuzgan Survey undertaken by Seth Priestman, Derek Kennet, Alireza Khosrozadeh and Abolfazl Aali in 2005 with the support of the British Institute of Persian Studies and the Iranian Centre for Archaeological Research. The project took place on the Minab plain and inland areas around the Halil Rud in order to ground test the reslts of the Williamson/Prickett survey undertaken in 1968-1971. The results of the study have been largely integrated and incorperated within the publiction: Priestman, S.M.N. & Kennet, D. 2023: Sasanian and Islamic Settlement and Ceramics in Southern Iran (4th to 17th Century AD): The Williamson Collection Project.
