Sovereign: A Local Architecture for Creator IP Protection
Authors/Creators
Description
Sovereign is a local-first architecture for protecting digital intellectual property, establishing cryptographic identity, artifact lineage, and verifiable authorship proof without reliance on centralized services or cloud infrastructure.
Version 4.3 adds crash-safe atomic watermark application; dual SHA3-256 fingerprinting of both the pre-watermark original and the sealed artifact; a second, vault-wide interleaved hash chain alongside the existing per-artifact chain; offline clock-rollback anomaly detection; locally generated Ed25519 creator signing of proof bundles and anchor cards; a user-mediated external anchoring export requiring no network operation by the application itself; and an optional creator process declaration layer for attesting, in the creator's own words, how a work came to exist. It also revises watermarking terminology and reframes vault capacity enforcement and offline licensing as dormant or designed-but-not-shipped in the current free, unlimited edition.
