Description

Data reproduction package for the paper "XRISM detection of the 6.4 keV Fe K$\alpha$ line in the radio galaxy Cygnus A" (arXiv:2605.16766; accepted in ApJ). This paper is part two of the paper "Spectrally Resolved Gas Kinematics in Cygnus A: XRISM Detects AGN Jet-induced Velocity Dispersion in Multi-temperature Gas" (article: doi:10.3847/1538-4357/ae2fe3; dataset: doi:10.5281/zenodo.17887212). Most intermediate files to produce spectral and image files from the raw data can be obtained from that repository. This repository provides additional jupyter notebook scripts for the AGN analysis of the data as well as files to reproduce the figures in the paper. There is a README file inside the package. 

Raw data: The XRISM data can be downloaded from https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/xrism/archive/index.html. Chandra data can be downloaded from doi:10.25574/cdc.605.
