Comprehensive Analysis of Nanotechnology: Scientific Frontiers, Market Dynamics, Socio-Ethical Governance, and Global Impact

Description

Nanotechnology, the manipulation of matter at the atomic and molecular scales (1–100
nm), has evolved from a theoretical physics concept into a multi-billion-dollar industry
driving global innovation. This comprehensive review examines the current state of both
fundamental and applied nanotechnology research. We analyze recent breakthroughs in
nanocrystal synthesis, perovskite solar cell efficiency, graphene commercialization, and
advanced nanomedicine, alongside their macroeconomic impacts and venture capital
dynamics. Furthermore, this paper critically evaluates the dual-use nature of
nanomaterials, highlighting the stark socio-economic disparities known as the
"nano-divide." Finally, we assess public perception, occupational safety imperatives, and
the architectural development of international Risk Governance Frameworks (NRGF)
necessary to ensure the ethical and sustainable deployment of next-generation
nanotechnologies.
