Technical Report: Serious Doubt on the Authenticity of the Enron Email Corpus

Authors/Creators

Description

This report presents a critical discovery regarding the integrity of the Enron Email Corpus, a foundational dataset in digital forensics and natural language processing. Using a novel AI-driven review system characterized by "Critical Biasing"—where the AI is instructed to prove the innocence (non-relevance) of every document—we identified internal communications from July 2000 that explicitly discuss the systemic ability to impersonate senior executives within the Enron email environment. This finding raises a Serious Doubt on the Authenticity of the entire corpus as legal evidence.
