Description
Tao philosophy, rooted in ancient Chinese thought, emphasises harmony, balance, and wu wei (effortless action), offering a unique framework for corporate leadership. This paper explores how these principles can enhance leadership practices across Indian corporations, fostering adaptability, sustainability, and ethical decision-making processes. By using secondary data from academic journals, books, and online resources. This paper examines the potential for Taoist principles to align with India's cultural and business contexts. Findings might suggest that embracing Taoism could improve organisational culture, stakeholder relationships, and long-term strategic vision. However, it remains to integrate ancient philosophy into modern business environments, especially regarding cultural differences. This article can provide insight to leaders seeking innovative approaches to navigate India's dynamic business landscape.
