Abstract
India is an important leading country in the world. 17.4% of the world's total population lives in India. The cooperative movement in India also started with the cooperative movement in the world, Maharashtra is the first among the leading states in India. The cooperative movement has grown to a large extent in Maharashtra. Considering the entire country, many different types of cooperative organizations have been established in the state of Maharashtra, mainly including cooperative sugar factories, spinning mills, cooperative water supply organizations, cooperative households, cooperative banks, cooperative credit unions, cooperative labor organizations and cooperative consumer warehouses. Through all these cooperative organizations, the overall development of the state of Maharashtra is being helped. Due to all these cooperative organizations, the income of the people of Maharashtra is increasing, employment opportunities are being created for the people of Maharashtra, the state's economy and, in turn, the country's economy is developing. In all these sectors, the importance of the cooperative sector in Maharashtra is unique.
