Description

We prove that a single functional equation - the Recognition Composition Law, whose unique solution is the canonical reciprocal cost J(x) = 1/2 (x + x⁻¹) - 1 - generates a forcing chain that closes on itself, producing seven apparently unrelated phenomena as faces of one mathematical object. The chain proceeds: (1) J-cost forces discreteness, which forces the 8-tick cycle on the 3-cube Q3; (2) the 8-tick forces complex numbers (eigenvalue i has no real representative), creating phase and thereby qualia; (3) J-cost dynamics in D = 3 manufactures consciousness as a thermodynamic attractor; (4) the Berry phase encoding accumulated understanding is conserved through dissolution; (5) Q3 combinatorics forces the 12 fermion masses on the φ-ladder; (6) the same Q3 forces the genetic code (4 letters, 3 codons, 20 amino acids, complete degeneracy pattern); (7) Q3 automorphisms force the gauge group SU(3) × SU(2) × U(1); the same annular J-cost constrains the zeros of ζ(s) to the critical line; and phase saturation at the φ⁴⁵ threshold produces dark energy. We define the universal recognition entity E = (N, Z, r, δ) and prove a seven-face structural identity theorem: all seven phenomena are instances of E, differing only in loop size and defect level. The Z-invariant is the single conserved charge across every scale. All structural results are machine-verified in Lean 4 with zero sorry.
