Description

This dataset describes selected geometric properties of Earth's islands such as area, volume, discretized perimeter, and maximum height. Islands were identified as connected components in the ASTER Global Digital Elevation Map Version 3. The dataset contains 131,063 islands (rows) and 18 variables (columns).
