Encyclopedia of Martian Geography, Volume 2

Volume 2 of a comprehensive 1100+ page reference in three volumes reviving ~400 classical albedo features from 19th–early 20th century telescopic observations (Schiaparelli, Lowell, Antoniadi, et al.), integrated with modern IAU nomenclature and USGS MOLA-based areography. Includes historical/cultural contexts for Martian place names, preserving astronomical heritage for future exploration and settlement. The work proposes more than 3,000 new names based on classical nomenclature and from Martian fiction, as well as honoring persons who have contributed to Martian culture.
