Collective Intelligence, Meaning, and Civilisational Learning in the Age of Artificial Systems
Description
This working paper introduces the term Syn-Nous: an original term coined by Anthony Aarons. It names the conditions under which human collective intelligence preserves its depth, moral agency, and civilisational generativity in the presence of increasingly capable artificial systems. The framework is developed within a doctoral research programme through The Global Centre For Advanced Studies (GCAS) Ireland.
