Description
JUMP (Joint Undertaking for Morphological Profiling) Cell Painting (abbreviated as JUMP-CP) is the world’s largest public image-based drug discovery resource from Broad Institute. Haibe-Kains lab curated raw 5-channel microscopy files cpg0016 (often referred to as the JUMP production dataset). Features are extracted using CellProfiler or deep learning models. Metadata includes mapping plates and wells to specific chemical treatments. It is unique because it was generated across 12 different data-generating centers (referred to as “sources”), providing high technical variability that makes it a robust reference dataset for drug discovery. The data is hosted on the AWS Registry of Open Data (https://registry.opendata.aws/cellpainting-gallery/) under the project folder /cpg0016-jump
