Lund University's Action Plan for Research Assessment Reform 2025-2029

Lund University joined the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) on 29 November 2022. This action plan outlines Lund University’s core priorities and actions to align assessment of research and researchers with the Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment (ARRA). It furthermore links to relevant international frameworks adopted by the university. 

The aim of this document is to support a transparent, fair and responsible assessment culture that aligns with international standards and best practices. It also establishes clear responsibilities for the CoARA implementation at Lund University, alongside responsibilities for proactive monitoring of developments to support evidence-based improvements of assessment practices. In line with CoARA instructions, the action plan will be reviewed and updated after five years, with internal follow-ups on a regular basis.
