Claude Leak 2026: What Really Happened?

Authors/Creators

Description

On March 31, 2026, Anthropic accidentally published 512,000 lines of its proprietary Claude Code source to a public npm registry. Most analysts treated this as a security incident. This paper treats it as a signal — a forced output from a system under structural pressure. Using the Patch Framework (PF), we extract the true operational priorities of one of the world's most closely watched AI companies. We then contextualize the findings within the Geometric Necessity Framework (GNF), which proposes that all systems — biological, technological, or cosmological — converge toward the same optimization gradient. The leak did not reveal what Anthropic said. It revealed what Anthropic is.
