This article analyzes the issues of transforming the activities of commercial banks in the context of the digital economy. In particular, it examines the essence of digital banking services, their advantages, and their role within the banking system. The importance of internet banking, mobile applications, artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies, and cooperation with fintech companies in the development of banking services is substantiated. The study also explores the implementation of digital banking services in Uzbekistan, highlighting existing opportunities and challenges, including insufficient IT infrastructure, cybersecurity risks, and the shortage of qualified specialists. Furthermore, the impact of digital services on economic modernization, their role in enhancing financial inclusion, and their significance in developing cashless payment systems are discussed. The findings of the research demonstrate that digital transformation is a key strategic direction for increasing the competitiveness of the banking system, improving service quality, and ensuring economic efficiency.
