Two Independent Geometric Correspondences Between the Great Sphinx and the Pyramid of Khufu: Evidence for a Unified Design Programme at Giza

  • 1. researcher

Description

Two independent geometric correspondences are demonstrated between the Great Sphinx of Giza and the Pyramid of Khufu. R1: the transverse cross-section of the Sphinx (chest/waist ratio) reproduces the pyramid's slope angle (51.844°) with 0.118% error. R2: the ratio of elbow span to head height approximates π with 0.149% error. Joint probability of chance occurrence: p ≈ 0.0002. An exploratory third result (R3) suggests the facial proportions encode the slope angle of the Pyramid of Khafre (0.468% error). All results derive from published survey data (Lehner 1991; Petrie 1883) without free parameters.
