Systematic Expansion of Medicinally Relevant Chemical Space Based on Imidazole and Imidazoline Scaffolds, Part XIII

Authors/Creators

Description

This document is part of a series of disclosures encompassing a diverse library of small molecule chemical structures for defensive publication and the establishment of prior art. All disclosed structures and associated materials are made publicly available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license to promote public accessibility and to reduce the likelihood of third parties obtaining patent protection over structurally related compounds, analogs, homologs, or derivatives, as well as their corresponding enantiomers, racemates, and all other optical isomers.

A structurally diverse library of small molecules containing imidazole, imidazoline, and related motifs was generated through systematic modification of known core scaffolds to explore both local and extended chemical space. The resulting compounds, incorporating variations such as methyl scanning, halogen substitution, bioisosteric replacement, functional group interconversion, and isotopic labeling, represent medicinally relevant chemical entities with potential applications in disorders of the nervous system. In total, approximately 1.3 million unique structures are disclosed as machine-readable SMILES, establishing a broadly defined and publicly accessible chemical space and downstream applications.

The disclosed structures represent medicinally relevant chemical entities with potential for treatment and prevention of a broad range of human and animal diseases or disorders, including without limitation conditions associated with the nervous system, inflammation, metabolism, cardiovascular function, infection, and oncology. No specific biological activity of therapeutic use is demonstrated herein.
