Description

A case analysis corpus reinterpreting Damasio's Elliot case within the CTPT (Cognitive Topological Phase Transition Theory) framework. Proposes that the affective waveform is a necessary condition for decision collapse, not an ancillary function: Elliot's symptoms are understood as L3 layer (affective gain) topological role failure, preventing semantic manifold global closure and disabling the option-collapse mechanism. Identifies three affective waveform dysregulation modes (flattening, over-oscillation, pulsed collapse) and analyzes their structural consequences. Released as a working paper open to critique and cross-disciplinary analysis.
