From Oracle to Entity: A Vision Manifesto for a Post-Transformer AI Paradigm

This document is a vision manifesto, not a completed research paper. Its purpose is to
define a coherent direction for post-transformer AI and to identify testable hypotheses for later
empirical work. The core claim is that a substantial capability shift requires transition from
oracle systems (prompt-response predictors) to entity systems (time-grounded agents with persistent memory dynamics, consequence-aware learning, and long-horizon alignment objectives).
The manifesto targets five bottlenecks of current LLM-centered systems: hallucination, contextwindow limits, energy intensity, reward hacking, and convergence of thought.
