Topological Defect Matter as a Unified Framework for Dark Matter and Dark Energy

Description

We propose a cosmological framework in which dark matter, baryonic matter, and dark
energy arise as different phases or topological defects of a fundamental scalar field. The model
predicts suppression of small-scale structure, smooth galactic cores, absence of direct detection
signals, and a stochastic gravitational wave background. This provides a testable alternative to
the standard ΛCDM cosmology.
