SMART Researchers - Questionnaire for researchers

The SMART Researchers Questionnaire is designed as a hybrid diagnostic instrument based on
the European Charter for Researchers and the ERA Pillars:
1. Ethics, Integrity, Gender and Open Science
2. Researchers’ Assessment, Recruitment and Progression
3. Working Conditions and Practices
4. Research Careers and T alent Development
The questionnaire aims to assess researchers’ perceptions, experiences, and institutional
practices across these four pillars, in line with the ERA Policy Agenda (Action 4: Strengthen
research careers in the European Research Area). It captures both the quantitative and qualitative
dimensions of research career systems.
