Testing the Reconstructibility of Quantum Coherence in Mesoscopic Systems

Description

This work proposes an experimental pathway to test the reconstructibility of quantum coherence in mesoscopic systems under controlled variations of an effective gravitational configuration.

 

Rather than introducing modifications to quantum dynamics, the approach probes whether all observed decoherence effects can be fully accounted for by standard environmental mechanisms.

 

The proposed protocol relies on statistical state reconstruction and defines an operational observable based on deviations between measured and predicted covariance matrices.

 

Levitated optomechanical systems are identified as a particularly suitable platform for implementing this test.

 

This work provides a first-generation experimental probe of the OFID-G criterion, formulated within the Ontological Framework of Imbricated Degrees (OFID).
