Description
The activities developed within the H2IOSC (Humanities and Cultural Heritage Italian Open Science Cloud) project are part of a broader digital innovation framework for heritage sciences, closely linked to the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science (E-RIHS). The overall objective was to design and test advanced digital services capable of supporting interdisciplinary research, fostering the convergence of humanities, computational sciences, and cutting-edge technologies.
The document is divided into chapters and describes the pilots developed by the institutes belonging to the E-RIHS research infrastructure and aiming to the enhancing of the use, conservation, and study of cultural heritage by means of interoperable digital environments enriched with analysis tools, representation models, and unified access systems.
