Psychonstructor: A Scientific Framework for Analyzing Altered States of Consciousness, Clinical Risk, and Ethical Boundaries in Psychedelic Contexts

This work presents a structured analysis of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy through a neuropsychological and systems-oriented lens, focusing on the mechanisms by which altered states of consciousness can disrupt and reorganize entrenched mental frameworks.

Drawing on clinical research, neuroscience, and contemporary therapeutic models, the work examines how substances such as psilocybin, LSD, and MDMA influence neural dynamics, cognitive flexibility, and emotional processing. Particular attention is given to the destabilization of rigid cognitive patterns and the conditions under which such disruption may lead to sustained psychological change.

Rather than treating psychedelics as isolated pharmacological agents, this work situates them within a broader process of guided intervention, emphasizing the role of context, integration, and structural reorganization of experience. The concept of “psychonstruction” is introduced to describe the reconstruction of internal models following controlled disruption.
