Description
This study examines the challenges of translating Amazigh fixed expressions in an oral context, focusing on the Ait Hammou variety. Due to their idiomatic nature and cultural specificity, these expressions pose difficulties in achieving both semantic fidelity and fluency in French. Based on a corpus of oral expressions, the study highlights key translation challenges and suggests strategies to preserve meaning and cultural significance. The findings emphasize the importance of linguistic and cultural sensitivity in intercultural translation.
