Description
Set of research articles retained for full-text review following screening process of systematic literature review. Retained articles adhere to the following criteria: published between 2013 and 2023; relates to secondary school-aged populations (11-18 years); is available in English; relates to some aspect of critical literacy acquisition in formal or informal learning environments; is a peer-reviewed publication; and/or is grey literature published by a national government, international organisation, or NGO. "Critical literacies" in this case are understood to extend to education relating to: critical literacy, civic or democratic education, everyday democracy, eco-social responsibility, media or digital skills, futures literacy, ethics, socio-political awareness.
