This tutorial introduces the principles of reproducible research, covering version control basics, documentation strategies, and the creation of reproducible analytical workflows using R and Quarto. It is aimed at researchers in linguistics and the humanities who want to align their work with open science standards increasingly required by journals and funders.
This tutorial is part of the Language Technology and Data Analysis Laboratory (LADAL), a free, open-access research infrastructure at the University of Queensland. LADAL provides tutorials, tools, and courses for researchers working with language data.
