Rotary 4-maniplexes with rotation group of order 3550 or less
Authors/Creators
Description
The 3 included files contain permutation representations of the rotation group of all rotary 4-maniplexes with rotation group of order 3550 or less. The data are split into 3 categories: N (non-orientable regular maniplexes), O (orientable regular maniplexes), and C (chiral maniplexes). Each zip file contains a folder with files named R4M-X_n.txt, where X is the code (N, O, or C) and n is the number of flags of the maniplex (which is equal to the group order for non-orientable maniplexes, and is twice the group order for orientable regular and chiral maniplexes).
For codes N and O, the format of the files is the same: the information for each maniplex is on 5 lines, with the first line giving the number of flags and the Schlafli Symbol, and the remaining 4 lines describing the permutation representation of the full automorphism group. In particular, the first line describes the action of the automorphism rho_0 on flags, and the second line describes rho_1, and so on. These permutations are given by means of a table showing the image of 1, 2, 3, ..., n.
Files with code C are formatted similarly, but with only 4 lines per maniplex, and where lines 2-4 describe the action of the automorphisms sigma_1 through sigma_3 on flags.
