Dataset Attribution and Licensing

This dataset is derived from Very High Resolution (VHR) RGB aerial imagery (Digitales Orthophoto RGB 20 cm, DOP20 RGB) provided by the Bavarian Surveying Administration (Bayerische Vermessungsverwaltung) via Bavarian Open Geodata.

Modifications and processing
The following processing steps were applied to the original data:

• Spatial subsetting of the original orthophotos into smaller image tiles corresponding to individual building regions

• Manual annotation of building roof structures following a Level of Detail (LoD) 2.0 specification

• Creation of vector labels in ESRI Shapefile (.shp) format

• Conversion of annotations into NumPy-based polygon representations (.npy)

• Dataset curation and structuring for machine learning applications

The image tiles remain derived from the original DOP20 RGB data and are subject to the same CC BY 4.0 license.

Appropriate credit to the original data provider is maintained. No endorsement by the original licensor is implied.
