Type locality: Australia, Queensland, neighbourhood of Duaringa

= Phycita bipartella Hampson, 1896b: 90

Type locality: Ceylon [Sri Lanka]

Distribution. Indian records: Bihar, Gujarat, Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal (Arora 2000), India, Sikkim (Du et al. 2005a), Punjab, Bihar, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu (Singh et al. 2019d), Haryana (Das et al. 2020b). Global records: Sri Lanka (Arora 2000), China (Guangdong), Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Australia (Queensland) (Du et al. 2005a).
