Description
Introduction: In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the digital transition of laboratories is recognized as a major public health lever. However, there is a critical lack of research documenting the actual state of digitization and interoperability challenges within the specific context of Congolese health infrastructures. This study analyzes the digitization of laboratory data in Likasi, Kakanda, Kambove, and Kalemie, focusing on the challenges of interoperability and the security of Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Methods: A descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study was conducted from November 2025 to January 2026 among 30 laboratory professionals. Data were collected via a structured questionnaire on Google Forms and analyzed using Microsoft Excel and Epi Info software.
