REPRESENTAÇÃO FEMININA NO PARLAMENTO: SUFRÁGIO, BARREIRAS INSTITUCIONAIS E MISOGINIA DIGITAL

This paper presents an analysis of the difficulties faced by women in the Legislative work environment. It is based on a study of the history of women's late participation in politics due to a patriarchal structure that prevented them for years from exercising their rights as citizens and the effects of this fact today, the presentation of important figures who stood out in the conquest of women's space in politics and especially in the Legislative Power, as well as highlighting the fundamental role of women in this Power and in politics as a whole. In addition, the discussion is also based on the presentation of complaints about prejudice suffered in the workplace, and the amplification of misogyny against women in this area on social networks. Using a qualitative method, with an analysis of legislation and authors who discuss the subject, it was possible to see that although women's participation in the legislature has grown in recent years, it is still small compared to men's and is extremely hampered by the misogynistic structure still present in the workplace and in society as a whole.

No presente artigo é apresentado uma análise das dificuldades presentes no ambiente de trabalho do Legislativo para as mulheres que o integram. Ela é feita a partir do estudo da história da participação tardia da mulher na política devido a uma estrutura patriarcal que a impediu por anos de exercer seus direitos de cidadã e os efeitos desse fato na atualidade, da apresentação de importantes figuras que se destacaram na conquista do espaço da mulher na
política e principalmente no Legislativo, bem como destacar o papel fundamental da mulher nesse Poder e na política como um geral. Além disso, a discussão também é feita com base na apresentação de denúncias acerca de preconceitos sofridos no meio do trabalho, e a amplificação da misoginia contra mulheres dessa área nas redes sociais. Através de um método qualitativo, com a análise de legislações e autores que discutem sobre o assunto, foi possível constatar que por mais que a participação da mulher no Legislativo cresceu nos últimos anos, ela ainda é pequena em comparação à masculina e é extremamente dificultada pela estrutura misógina ainda presente no ambiente de trabalho e na sociedade como um todo.
