Description

Description

GW-LMC (Gravitational-Wave Lensing Mock Catalog) provides a comprehensive suite of simulated strongly lensed gravitational wave (GW) events designed for the third-generation (3G) ground-based detector era. This catalog employs a multi-scale Halo Model approach, unifying lensing predictions across galaxy, group, and cluster scales while explicitly incorporating dark matter subhalos.

Key Features

  • Advanced Populations: Derived from the latest GWTC-4.0 observational constraints, featuring the "Broken Power Law + 2 Peaks" mass model for binary black holes (BBH).
  • Composite Lens Model: Integrates host halos, central galaxies, subhalos, satellite galaxies, and external shear for high-resolution lensing predictions.
  • Unique Event Classes: Includes standard doublets and quadruplets, subhalo-lensed events, and detectable central images—a feature typically unobservable in optical lensing but accessible to 3G GW detectors.
  • Detector Networks: Simulations encompass ET, CE, and A+ configurations, strictly accounting for Earth rotation and time-dependent detector responses.
  • User Integration: All files utilize a consistent event_id column to allow for easy cross-referencing between source, lens, and image parameters.
