Rooftop PV detections from aerial imagery over France

Dataset containing the rooftop PV detections from IGN aerial imagery. 

File format : .geojson.gz

The CRS is EPSG:3035

For each detection, 

• The geometry corresponds to its raw estimated geometry
• The properties are the following : 
  • `surface` the polygon surface in squared meters,
  • `yield_kwh` : the raw annual production (in kWh), estimated from PVGis
  • `kwp_approx` : the installed capacity (in kWp),
  • `year` : the detection year (i.e., the year of the corresponding IGN imagery)

The dataset contains a total of 460 755 detections for an aggregated installed capacity of 2.319 GWp.

The main file (france-detections.geojson.gz) contains the detection covering all continental France. The file individual-regions contains the zip files for each 12 continental regions.
