Distribution: Afrotropical region
In Ethiopia part: central, western, southern, southeastern region: Amhara, Gambela, Oromia habitat (reference): cushion plants with litter (Ermilov, Sidorchuk & Rybalov 2012); litter, litter in cushion plants, moss, moss in cushion plants, moss on trees in forest with Erica arborea (Ermilov, Sidorchuk & Rybalov 2012; Ermilov & Rybalov 2024b, 2024d); litter, soil in forest with Hagenia abyssinica (Ermilov, Sidorchuk & Rybalov 2012; Ermilov & Rybalov 2024b); litter in deciduous forest with Ficus sycomorus (Ermilov, Shtanchaeva & Subías 2022); moss on trees in forest with Juniperus procera (Ermilov & Rybalov 2024a); litter, moss on swamp in afroalpine community (Ermilov & Rybalov 2024b); litter, moss in forest with Hagenia abyssinica and Erica arborea (Ermilov & Rybalov 2024b); litter, soil in deciduous forest (Ermilov & Rybalov 2024c, 2025d); litter in forest with Acacia sp.
