The basic sample methods of the research (Merodon caucasicus Portschinsky, 1877 on Galanthus woronowii, Georgia, Pirveli Maisi): A, "surface bulbs" sampling method, natural soil erosion case, the bulb without leaves is inhabited by the larva; B, the bulb with the larva entrance hole; C, "natural clumps" sampling method, the bulb with signs of the larva inhabitation (indicated by tweezers); D, the same, the cluster of both damaged (indicated by arrows) and undamaged bulbs.
