ABSTRACT

The book The Qumran Scrolls – Evidence of the Authenticity of the Bible (ISBN 978-86-7884-115-6) 2009. Belgrad. Metafizika is a scholarly-popular and philological-theological study addressing one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the twentieth century—the Qumran manuscripts discovered in the caves near the Dead Sea. The study is centered on the fundamental question of the authenticity and reliability of the biblical text, examining the relationship between the Qumran scrolls and later Masoretic versions of the Old Testament.

The research applies a comparative philological methodology, with particular emphasis on the analysis of specific textual examples, especially the Isaiah Scroll. Based on several years of systematic analysis of original texts, the study investigates the degree of correspondence between ancient manuscripts and modern biblical editions, thereby addressing the issue of textual continuity and preservation throughout history.

The findings indicate a remarkably high level of consistency between the Qumran texts and the canonical biblical text, which the author interprets as strong evidence supporting the historical authenticity and textual stability of the Bible. APSTRAKT

Knjiga Kumranski spisi – dokaz verodostojnosti Biblije (ISBN 978-86-7884-115-6) predstavlja naučno-popularnu i filološko-teološku studiju koja se bavi jednim od najznačajnijih arheoloških otkrića XX veka – kumranskim rukopisima pronađenim u pećinama kod Mrtvog mora. Polazeći od osnovnog pitanja autentičnosti i pouzdanosti biblijskog teksta, autor analizira odnos između kumranskih svitaka i kasnijih masoretskih verzija Starog zaveta.

U radu se primenjuje komparativno-filološka metoda, sa posebnim fokusom na analizu konkretnih tekstualnih primera, među kojima centralno mesto zauzima svitak proroka Isaije. Dugogodišnje istraživanje (više godina analize izvornog teksta) usmereno je na utvrđivanje stepena podudarnosti između drevnih rukopisa i savremenih biblijskih izdanja, čime se otvara pitanje kontinuiteta i očuvanosti teksta kroz istoriju.

Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju na izuzetno visok stepen podudarnosti između kumranskih tekstova i kanonskog biblijskog teksta, što autor tumači kao snažan argument u prilog istorijskoj verodostojnosti i tekstualnoj stabilnosti Biblije. Posebna pažnja posvećena je i razbijanju savremenih predrasuda i polemika o poreklu i pouzdanosti Svetog pisma, uz nastojanje da se kompleksna naučna pitanja približe široj čitalačkoj publici.
