Acromantis magna Yang 1996: 1, fig. 1. Type locality: Guizhou Province, Maolan. Holotype: ♀ (CAU); Wu & Liu 2024: 15.
Material examined. 3 ♂♂, CHINA, Guangdong, Shaoguan City, Nanling National Nature Reserve, 15. VI.2024, Light Trap, Zi-Hao Zhu leg.; 1 ♀, Shaoguan City, Nanling National Nature Reserve, 8.VII.2024, Yu-Sen Chen leg. Remarks. Acromantis magna was originally described from a female specimen collected in Guizhou, China. Wu & Liu (2024) recorded this species in the southern and eastern China mainland, with a description and illustration. After examining the specimens from Guangdong, we found their morphological characteristics align with Yang’s description. Acromantis magna exhibits morphological similarities to A. grandis, but differs in the spination pattern of forelegs. In A. magna, the anteroventral femoral spines start with a short spine followed by a significantly longer spine, whereas in A. grandis, the first two anteroventral femoral spines are both short (Fig. 2K, L).
