Description
Social media has become a critical instrument in today's digital economy for businesses looking to build consumer trust and brand equity. Social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok allow brands and customers to communicate interactively and in real time, converting one-way marketing into dynamic relationship-building procedures. This study looks at how social media tactics like content marketing, user-generated content, influencer engagement, online brand communities, and responsive communication can improve brand equity dimensions like perceived quality, brand awareness, brand associations, and brand loyalty. The study suggests that social media use increases perceived community advantages, which in turn promote trust and enduring loyalty. It bases this claim on well-known theoretical frameworks including Aaker's Brand Equity Model and the Commitment-Trust Theory of Relationship Marketing. One important mediating factor that connects social media activity to the development of loyalty and total brand equity is trust. According to empirical results from earlier studies, community involvement, openness, and active engagement have a major impact on consumer perceptions, lower uncertainty, and promote intentions to make repeat purchases.
