Attitudes towards Open Science and Data Sharing: Global Dataset of Researcher Surveys (2018-2024)

Description
This dataset compiles quantitative data from international surveys (2018-2024) on attitudes of academic researchers towards open science and data sharing. Includes five key analytical dimensions: (1) Willingness to share data by discipline; (2) Repository awareness and use rates (Zenodo, Dataverse, OSF, Figshare, Dryad, GitHub); (3) Perceived barriers (legal/ethical issues, lack of recognition, effort/time, privacy, IP, lack of skills); (4) Prior experience in open data publishing by career stage (PhD, postdoc, senior researcher, professor); (5) Support for open science mandates by region (Europe 82%, North America 70%, Asia 60%, Latin America 52%). Relevance: Data aligned with international open science policies (UNESCO 2021, Plan S, FAIR principles) and scientific reproducibility agenda.
